Jacana Production is currently shooting a series of Instructional videos for WebVideoAnswers.com. The videos combine video shot with a DV Camcorder, Webcam and screen capture footage. The video is distributed via the Blip.TV video sharing service and is also available in higher resolutions encoded in QuickTime format (with fast start enabled). Jacana Productions also created the opening animation using Motion 3.

Technical Details

Video screen capture was done entirely on a Mac Laptop using IshowU screen capture software @ 36 frames per second. The Windows XP screen capture portions were made possible by Parallels Desktop virtualization software. It allows OS X Leopard and Window XP /Visa to run simultaneously on a single Mac computer.
