Tornado Research - Massive Tornado in Nebraska
(June 2011) Jacana Productions shot of a massive stove pipe tornado for The Center for Severe Weather Research during one of it's Tornado Research missions in June 2011. Footage from a previous mission shot by Jacana Productions was used in Jim Lehrer's PBS News Hour and shown on national TV. This footage will also be used in an upcoming BBC TV show (23 Degrees on BBC 2).

(Feb 2010) The Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Colorado commissioned Jacana Productions to produce a short video on a high tech piece of meteorological research equipment called the Disdrometer.
